You agree to the terms of service below, and the Terms of Use for Substack, the technology provider.
1. Overview
SKD (“the site,” “the newsletter,” “I,” or “we”) provides content, crochet patterns, posts, emails, and digital products. By accessing or using SKD, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site.
2. Paid Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions grant access to premium SKD content.
Subscription billing is handled by the platform provider (e.g., Substack, Stripe, etc.).
Your subscription will renew automatically unless you cancel.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your account settings.
3. Refund Policy
Because SKD provides digital content, all sales are generally final and non-refundable.
However, if something goes wrong, reach out — I want to be fair.
4. Content Use & Copyright
All content on SKD—including posts, patterns, PDFs, images, and designs—is owned by Spoiled Knotty Diva.
You may:
Read and enjoy the content
Make items from the patterns for personal use or to gift
You may not:
Repost, republish, or distribute paid posts or patterns
Claim SKD designs as your own
Sell SKD patterns or include them in other products
Train AI models on SKD content
If you want to sell finished items made from SKD patterns, please credit “Spoiled Knotty Diva” as the designer.
5. User Conduct
Don’t do anything harmful, malicious, or illegal on SKD.
Don’t harass me or other subscribers.
Don’t misuse the site or try to disrupt it.
Pretty simple.
6. Email & Communication
By subscribing (free or paid), you agree to receive emails from SKD.
You can unsubscribe anytime.
7. Account Security
You’re responsible for keeping your login information secure.
If you notice any unauthorized access, update your password immediately.
8. Third-Party Services
SKD may use third-party platforms for payments, hosting, analytics, and email delivery. Those services have their own terms, and SKD isn’t responsible for their outages or actions.
9. Limitation of Liability
SKD is provided “as is.”
I’m not liable for:
Loss of data
Platform outages
Any damages resulting from using the content
Basically: I promise to do my best, but I can’t promise perfection.
10. Changes to These Terms
I may update these terms from time to time. If that happens, I’ll post the updated version with a new effective date.
